Kayaks right from our dock. We paddled out to a little island, so calm and peaceful. Having the house on the canal is awesome. We include 5 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, 8 bikes, fishing gear, beach chairs and umbrellas, and life vests.
Put in from the back yard
The kayaks live in the garage. Carry one down to the dock, drop it in, and you are on the water in a couple of minutes. No roof rack, no rental shop, no reservation.
The canal is protected and flat, which makes it a good place for a first-time paddler or a kid in a life vest.
Where to paddle
Follow the canal out and you can reach small mangrove islands within half an hour of easy paddling. Mornings are calmest and you will usually see wading birds and, often, dolphins.
Life vests for adults and kids are in the garage with the boards.

Five kayaks, two paddleboards, eight bikes, fishing gear, a beach cart, eight beach chairs and umbrellas.
None of it costs extra. That is part of the point of booking direct: the rate covers the gear, and there is no platform service fee on top.
