Late spring is underrated
Late April and early May bring warm water, quiet beaches and shoulder-season rates. Restaurants seat you without a wait and the bike paths are empty.
The pool is heated and screened, so weather rarely changes the plan.

Shoulder and summer dates carry a four-night minimum; high season is seven nights. Bring a dog with approval, or a boat for the dock.
